Building the P-51 Mustang Pedal Plane: Step 4, Fuselage Holding Fixture

P-51 Pedal Plane Step 4
In these six videos, I discuss fabricating the fuselage holding fixture used to assist in gluing the fuselage together. I also show how the fuselage rests in the fixture. In video 5, I mistakenly discuss putting the seat back in the wrong way (based on the kit with pre-drilled holes). In the last video, I address my mistake. The pre-drilled hole is for the bell crank support. (With the kit, this can sometimes be confusing because there are times the fuselage is upside down and therefore everything you’re working on is reversed.) However, while not mentioned in the video, I noticed that only one fuselage side had a pre-drilled hole, just aft of the seat which was also for the bell crank support. Therefore, if it isn’t clear in video six, just know that the hole in the seat should be closest to the fuselage side that also has a pre-drilled hole for the bell crank support.

hello good afternoon, very good job and design a question. Do you have any video on how to mount the steering rudder rods? Thank you
NEY,
I’ve uploaded the videos on assembling the control system. As always, I recommend watching all the videos because I was filming as I went along and would make mistakes. I always explained my mistakes in later videos. The videos are here:

Hopefully, these videos are helpful.
Good luck!

Hi NEY,
Not yet in the public domain. I’ve admittedly been unable to get all the videos edited and uploaded due to other projects. Give me a few days and I’ll work specifically on the steering rudder rod videos I have and post ASAP.
Happy Holidays!
